General Cleaning Operative

About This Role

We’re seeking a cleaner to join our ever-expanding team, and maintain a clean and orderly environment at our client’s facility. Your duties will include:

• Maintaining a superb standard of cleanliness across all areas of the premises
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming and dusting all floors and surfaces
• Cleaning down and sanitising all areas as assigned
• Emptying bins and replacing liners or refuse sacks
• Replenishing supplies such as soap, toilet rolls and paper towels
• Removing any litter or rubbish
• Notifying management of any necessary repairs or maintenance

With expert support from our in-house team, you’ll be able to succeed in all the roles you’re completing, and feel part of our close-knit team.

What We’re Looking For

As one of the UK’s leading providers of exceptional cleaning services, there are certain things we’re looking for in our applicants. We’d need you to have:

• Proven experience in a cleaning or similar role
• A working knowledge of cleaning chemicals, proper storage and disposal methods
• Strong abilities to work independently with minimal supervision
• Have your own transport to get to and from your place of work
• Superb attention to detail and thoroughness in completing tasks
• Good communication skills, both verbally and written
• Excellent timekeeping skills
