Local school art installation sponsored by Vanguard

Vanguard Cleaning have sponsored an art project at Rhosymedre
Junior School near Llangollen. Organised by Victoria
Reynolds of Wrexham Arts Centre the installation involved a
gigantic 8-foot, wall-mounted tree made entirely from
ceramic handprints designed and glazed by the school
children. Victoria Reynolds commented "It's fantastic when
local businesses give their support to community projects
like this. This previously drab school wall is now a
testament to the children's colourful creativity and
imagination. Without Vanguard's help it just wouldn't have
been possible."

Vanguard "burns off" the competition to land exclusive Porsche Contract

After an extremely competitive tendering process Vanguard came out as preferred partners to work with the new Porsche Centre Chester at Cheshire Oaks. Obviously the sales environment around such prestige vehicles as Porsche must be immaculate. Vanguard’s attention to detail goes down to the smallest fingerprint on the showroom glass. Vanguards remit goes well beyond cleaning to include a completely managed service for air fresh systems, hygiene services and supply of consumables.

Internet Finance Company required a "refreshing" approach to their cleaning needs

New multi-million pound health centre draws upon Vanguard’s medical cleaning expertise

A brand new health centre servicing the Llandudno area have
sought out Vanguard to look after their housekeeping requirements.

Tarporley Hospital call in Vanguard Cleaning

It's another first for Vanguard to be asked to look after
the housekeeping of a busy 60 bed cottage hospital. Never
has medical cleaning been more in the spot-light. The media
has often pointed the finger at contract cleaning firms as
being the cause of the problem which of course makes Vanguard
even more determined to buck the trend and deliver its usual
high standards to Tarporley Hospital. To help achieve this
goal Vanguard welcomes some seasoned hospital housekeepers,
Cynthia, Pearl, Helen and Una who are all up to the job in
hand !

The National Trust put their
Castle in the trust of Vanguard

Chirk castle is 700 years old built by Edward I between 1295
and 1310 so it's seen a good few generations of Servants and
Housekeepers ! Vanguard are now pleased to be a part of that
long illustrious history and offer a right royal service to
the National Trust and the thousands of visitors who come
to Chirk Castle each year. The job has required some new skills
to be learnt so that we can be sure of preserving the many
ancient artefacts that the castle is bursting with. Apparently
you can't clean a 400 year old suit of armour with bleach
! We hope to be of service to the castle for many, many years
to come.

Blue Planet award Vanguard with
24 hour cleaning and security contract

It's another remarkable success for Vanguard Cleaning and
a mark of our customers faith in our services that just over
12 months from starting work for Blue Planet we are providing
an extended cleaning service and night security. Daryl Hales
maintenance manager for Deep Sea Leisure PLC comments, "the

Spirit Health Clubs, the leisure complex affiliated to Holiday
Inn have called in Vanguard to keep their Gyms, Swimming Pools
and Saunas in tip top condition. These busy fitness centres
are open 365 days a year 16 hours a day so cleaning them requires
a real commitment and lots of hard work. David Heath the Vanguard
Supervisor in charge of the challenge says, "The cleaning
of these complexes is yet another example of how Vanguard
Cleaning can operate successfully in a specialised environment.

Club call up Vanguard Cleaning

Portal Premier, Tarporley in Cheshire is regarded by those
golfers in the know as one of the finest, most exclusive 18
hole courses in the area, boasting panoramic views over the
Cheshire plain towards Jodrell Bank. It's not just about golf
either - Portal hosts business conferences, weddings and other
large events. Vanguard Cleaning look after the whole of this
impressive building and have become very good at vacuuming
up confetti as well as grass and sand !

housekeeping and consumable supplies of Pann Krisp Foods UK.
Supplying Asda, Sainsbury's and Morrison's with high quality
ready made meals Pann Krisp UK is truly a 24/7 operation employing
500 staff. Obviously standards of cleanliness have to be exemplary
and regular external audits are conducted on Vanguard Cleaning's
work. We extend a warm welcome to our six new colleagues who
will be keeping everything ship shape and Bristol fashion.

Vanguard Cleaning win contract
to clean sixty luxury waterside apartments in Chester

The Wharf, Chester is a brand new development of prestigious
dwellings aimed at the city living professional. Nowhere do
standards need to be higher than in the lift taking you to
your Ferrari in the underground car park ! With over 40,000
square feet of apartments to look after and also the maintenance
of the outside planted and patio areas we certainly have our
work cut out.

Vanguard's watertight contract

The UK's biggest and best marine life tourist attraction,
Blue Planet Aquarium, has entrusted their cleaning requirements
to Vanguard. Situated near Ellesmere Port, Blue Planet Aquarium
features one of the longest underwater walkways in the world.
As you journey around the 230 ft "safari-tunnel" visitors
get frighteningly close to sting-rays and 9ft nurse sharks.
!
"It's a milestone," said James Crompton of Vanguard, "Cleaning
up after half a million visitors a year is just the sort of
challenge we relish."
The contract includes cleaning retail areas, public walkways,
offices, toilets, carpets and aquarium glass. In addition
Vanguard will be providing additional services after functions,
conferences and events. To support the volume of work, Vanguard
welcomes aboard two new colleagues, Jackie and Ann, and toast
their success - with water of course !

Just what the doctor ordered

Vanguard has branched out into a new area of cleaning expertise
- Doctor's Surgeries - and the people in white coats are singing
our praises !
"Nowhere are stringent hygiene standards more important than
in a medical environment so it was only a matter of time before
our business became involved in this particular area", says
Verity Pulford of Vanguard.
In addition to providing highly trained cleaners to operate
in this demanding type of environment, Vanguard have also
started to supply specialist materials to surgeries such as
disposable hygiene rolls and sanitising solutions.
One North Wales Practice Manager commented, "At last we've
found a company that can achieve the level of detail and high
standards that we require in a rigorous cleaning environment".

Ottakar's call upon Vanguard to
dust down the shelves

We always knew we where the A-Z of cleaning but when we were
recently awarded the contract to clean Ottakar's bookshops
we realised we'd be spineless to refuse ! Listed on the FTSE
100 - Ottakar's PLC called upon our encyclopaedic knowledge
of cleaning to get their books in order !
Newer flagship bookstores include a café area within the
shop for customers to relax with an espresso whilst thumbing
through the latest Harry Potter masterpiece !
Vanguard looks forward to delivering an epic masterpiece
of it's own when cleaning for Ottakar's for many years to
come !
