About Us

When I started Vanguard Cleaning nearly 10 years ago it was because I wanted to work for a cleaning company who had a different approach. I had been working as an operations manager for a large chain of department stores. Every time I engaged a cleaning company to clean our premises, whether it was in Manchester, Glasgow or London, the story was the same – shocking service, unprofessional management, poorly motivated staff and lengthy minimum service contracts.

I saw an opportunity of providing something very rare – a cleaning company who offered good old fashioned customer service, a cleaning company who regarded its team members as important as its customers and crucially a cleaning company who didn't tie their customers into any sort of contract whatsoever. We now know our customers love having no contract and it keeps us on our toes to offer an outstanding level of service day in day out.

As they say the rest is history. We have developed our business significantly in a decade. Most notably we have specialised our resources and expertise in delivering cleaning and support services to medical establishments both large and small. Unlike many of our competitors we are not afraid of this area of Cleaning.

Cleaning company websites aren't the most interesting - I know that because I've read loads ! However, we have tried to make this one a little less formal while hopefully still conveying our passion and professionalism for what we do. We've even included a game you can play when you want to de-stress for a couple of minutes.

Our management team and staff are rightly proud to work for a market leader in the industry. Indeed, many of our team have been with us since the beginning and have seen the business develop into what it is today. Many have also developed with the business and moved into senior management roles.

Some things will never change though – our complete focus on the service and standards our customers have grown to expect and our emphasis on building a strong team with the absolute minimum of staff turnover.
